Position Summary: Trusted Messenger/Resource Specialist -Dari-Farsi speaking (short-term through April 2024) Trusted Messenger/Resource Specialist will provide public awareness and community outreach services for the unhoused and community members experiencing the greatest health and social inequities and provide them with culturally relevant and in-language resources regarding the State’s priority campaigns. Theywill also support individuals by providing access to COVID-19 vaccine information, education and locations to be vaccinated. Particular focus toward access to the unhoused and disproportionately impacted communities particularly as related to race, ethnicity and the myriad intersections (LGBTQ+, language, age, disabilities, immigration status and ESL). All duties will be performed with a strengths-based, person-centered, culturally responsive, empowerment-focused, and trauma informed manner.

Reports To: Resource Center Manager (or designee)

Hours: Monday-Friday and some weekends as needed (up to 40 hours per week)

Wage Range: $24.00 per hour
